Quran Duo is built so that your reading stays yours. The short version: the app collects no personal data, has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising, and everything you do in it stays on your device.

What stays on your device

• Your reading position, reading history, bookmarks, folders, highlights and Khatmah plan.
• Your settings: language, appearance, fonts, tajweed colours, reciter.
• Recitations you choose to download for offline listening.
• Reading reminders, which are local notifications scheduled on your device.

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. If you use the home screen or lock screen widgets, the app shares your chosen language and last-read page with its own widgets through Apple's App Group storage, which never leaves your device.

Network connections

The Quran, its translation, the tajweed data and the page fonts are all inside the app; reading needs no internet connection. The app connects to the internet only when you stream or download a recitation, in which case the audio is fetched from EveryAyah.com. That request carries the standard information any web request carries, such as your IP address, and is governed by that service's own policy. We do not receive it.

Permissions

• Notifications, only if you turn on a reading reminder.
• Photos, add only, only if you save an ayah image to your library. The app cannot read your existing photos.

What we do not do

• No accounts, sign-in or profiles.
• No analytics, tracking, advertising identifiers or third-party SDKs.
• No selling, sharing or transfer of any data.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published here with a new date.
